Lots of Impressions but Can't See The Ads
I have an AdWords campaign that's relatively new. It's getting lots of impressions but I can't find the ads even going deep in the SERPS. Google shows the words in the average of 10th position. Of course CTR is fast nose diving and that means disable soon I guess. An impression means the ad is shown, but I can't make it show for me. I have tried at different times of the day. Maybe it's being shown through a limited number of data centers. Maybe they are rationing the impressions and I'm just not lucky enough to look when they are showing. This all started about 34 hours ago.

Check your dayparting settings and your accounts time zone to make sure you're not somehow looking at the "off" times. Same deal for your target area and language. Next, play close attention to whether the imps are search or content match - so you know where to look for them. Go into the tools section and use the ad dianostic tool to see the reason why you can't see the ad as well. Have a friend look for imps using a keyword you know is gettting stats for showing - sometimes reveals some difference you might be overlooking. If your budget is set below the recommended amount, it may be throttled back and therefore missed at times. This can be made worse if you have chosen accelerated delivery (versus spread out) and you're checking in the evening...

Anyhow, it's been my experience many, many times to think adwords is screwed up only later to learn it was me or a setting or something I had overlooked.

That was my first thought. I'll have to check after 18:00 as they are down now.

    As my mermory serves:
    • Dayparting off.
    • Target US and CA in English
    • Only using Google Search - no network or content
    • Tried Diagnostic tool - confirmed that ad not showing at that time
    • Budget 25% used yesterday - none used today
    • Budget is below recommended
    • Tried accelerated delivery and standard
    • Will try having a friend look and using my Linux machine
    • Yes it's probably me - I hope because that I can change!

A quick edit: I can see an add for one keyword on the Linux maching but not on this PC .

    Will do.

I'm able to see many ads on my Linux Firefox, but none on this one. I'm wondering if that's some effort by Google to prevent tampering with CTR.
