First of all the article is nearly two years old and I do recall hearing that whole BS! When it first came out.

I'll try an feel sorry for new millionairs the next time I see one of those feed the children commercials.

I think I can deal with it.

And I don't really feel sorry for the new millionaires either. Awwww... If they have so much of a problem from the money, they can give it here and I'll take it off their hands, while they go back to the factory for "balance". It's fun to scoff, but the problems can be real.

Someone who might (in some ways!) be a good role model here would be the late actor Richard Burton. His extravagant, exuberant spending was widely reported in the press, and he enjoyed his money quite publicly.

Only his accountants knew that when he spent money on something frankly extravagant -- does anyone here remember the jewelry he gave to Elizabeth Taylor? -- he would always quietly match it with donations to an assortment of charities that he supported.

That's MY idea of a balanced life!

Its so nice to see said psychologist offering his services to someone with money they don't know what to do with.

I'm sure they will receive the millionaire discount.

"Who is wealthy? He who is happy with his lot".

It's no sin to have money. One can do a lot of good with money (as in the RB example given by Elisabeth).

If anyone wants excuses to be unhappy and whacked out or depressed, well it doesn't take money to do so.
