No, you can't tell people to click on your Adsense links. But you can position them so they have a good chance of getting clicked.

    Click to buy
Google definitely gets touchy on that and the part that I find amazing is that they catch it. There are hundreds of thousands of sites with adsense and they really to police them.

There's more to the T&C than just forced clicks. We are not supposed to "verbally" call attention to the ads or ask/tell people to click on them.

Oh, That makes it a lot more difficult now for people to click on the adverts!

I would link to an actual product - you'll get way more commission if someone buys the processor than if they click on an Adsense link.

Hey Clyde, ya know what? If I wanted someone to run my life for me I would still be married, so I'm sure not gonna let Google run my life.

So if you're afraid to put an advert on the blog page, then put up a static sales page with some processors and link to that page from your blog page. It gives some link love to the sales page, and keeps the blog post informational and "pure" for the oh, so virtuous Google powers that be.

I'm not sure where there is a conflict here. I have adsense and other merchant ads on the same pages. Doesn't seem to bother Goog too much - they send me tons of traffic. But I wouldn't want to lead you astray if you are asking something entirely different.

I think it's best to consider what you're offering your visitors. If you are recommending a certain product, linking to an ad for it is beneficial for your visitor if they wanted to buy it or check it out further. If Google doesn't like it, too bad so sad.

Never had any problems with that either. Been running for a long time with a good mix of advertisements. G, however, is the only Contextual Ad system integrated into some of my sites - which is all they'll allow.
