August 4th, 2006, 05:50 PM #1Why do sales show with 'placeholders' for months and months?
I have orders going back to last year for some of your merchants that show orders that are showing a sale of $0.05. You explained to me MONTHS ago that it is a 'placeholder' and they will eventually adjust the sale to what it really was.
IT IS NOT a catalog request!!
Well - I have some of your Merchants who have NEVER updated.
Feel Pretty is a dead beat
Swimsuits just for us shows 'placeholders' from MARCH.
and Hips N Curves has orders 'pending' from back in February
and KIYONNA has orders still 'pending' from LAST JUNE!

This is a constant problem with a few of my merchants too. First I drop them. Then I watch and wait. There is too much dead wood over there that is not being taken care of.
I know that SAS is not CJ/Perf/Linkshare but really they need to watch their merchants a little closer and take steps to either remove them from the system or get them to clean up the act.

Add SohoDecor to the list. I have an order from Nov'05 and one from Dec'05 sitting with 0.00. An email to them went unanswered.

Yeah. Feelpretty has some going back about three years.
Just ditch them. At least under these circumstances, we can tell who the deadbeats are. I'd be more concerned about merchants who leave a small deposit to keep their account live, and then don't load a tracking pixel. Without tracking compliance testing, a merchant could churn free traffic out of affiliates for an indefinite period.
