if someone has a site where i can buy a "contact us" script i am willing to pay. Or if you want to help me with some free info - that's great too. I am using FrontPage.

I need the script to have form fields which people will fill in and then that info would be sent to a contact persons email.

I have some scripts in PHP, Perl and Coldfusion. If you want to try your hand at doing it yourself and if your hosting has the FrontPage Server extensions installed I think the forms wizard will generate the back-end code to process the forms results. Look in the forms wizard for Feedback form.

Free-CGI.com has some hosted ones, easy to use and they cost nothing. You do have to put up with their banner ads though.

Jada,
Have you thought about Formmail? There is a new version that takes out the security risk that was there before. I don't know if this would be of interest to you, but the support system we use has been known to make a great contact us script. It isn't hard to set up, but it is involved because it uses a tracking system. It's great if you have several employees or people that help out. You can track to see if the person has been answered yet. If you need any additional info on that script, just let me know. You can also see it at our site (but PLEASE don't fill out any support requests )

Jada, If you use frontpage then it's all right there!

Just go to:
insert
form
form
right click on the form when it appears
go to form properties
erase-> "_private/form_results.txt"

in the line below place the email you want the form input sent to.

now go back to
insert
form
scrolling text box

that's it you are done

oh, when you right click on the form go to from props again.

Now you see options in the bottom left corner.

You can use that to make a landing page after the page is submitted, config subject line of the email, etc...

Hope that helps.

I use the newest Formmail script, too. Tastes great AND is less filling!
