For the times when all the wiz-bang automated software just kills what you have been trying to achieve and you have to go back and hand code it.

I'm there quite often....However, I frequently use the program Arachnophilia...It is a great text based editor...full of code shortcuts making it easy to code. It's easy to modify so you can add new tags, etc. Best of all it's free or 'Careware'....basically it's Free if you are nice to somebody...I use it daily over any other editor.

Sounds like something you should be arrested for.

Ah well, only two hours and everyone will be getting up. I think I will wait and greet them all.

At least when my wife asks me if I slept on the couch again (late night films) I can honestly say, no dear, it was an all night session last night.

I use Namo Web Editor which has an inbuilt text editor which is pretty good at respecting your hand-done HTML coding. Nice product, inexpensive too

    Thanks,

Whats it like for those of us who are javascript (or any script) impaired?

NAMO has some scripts built in, but I tend not to use them. In any case, I'm still on version 4 and 5 is now out.

It even came with a proper manual! A rarity these days
