Problem with If and null fields
I'm trying to leave out a record if the field for that record is empty. But "if" keeps having issues with my use of "<" and ">"

When I put this in:
[WM-If: Field: PreviousPartTitle <> ""]Read next article: [WM-LinkNext][WM-Field: NextPartTitle raw nolink][/WM-LinkNext] [/WM-If]

I get this error: Error processing tag in Detail template: [WM-If: Field: PreviousPartTitle <> ""]

I know the help file says to ferret out empty fields with
<> ""
but that just doesn't seem to be working. Is there some sort of conflict between the app expecting a string, but getting a number or vice-versa? I've also tried every version of "empty" I can think of.
Any help is much appreciated.

Okay - I solved this one myself.

If anybody else is having this problem: I was using Dreamweaver - in "Design" (WYSIWYG) mode. Switching to work in "Code Mode" solved the issue.

We've had this reported with FrontPage and others as well -- seems many HTML editors are trying to do a little more handholding than is necessary, but working in source mode rather than layout mode always cinches it.

Thanks for posting your solution.
