    Keep the Verify Your Site files
    Just a heads up if you are verifying your site and using the meta tag option or the html page option it probably is in your best interest to keep the file there. I just had to go back in and reverify my sites because I deleted the file right after I verified it the first time.

    I looked under the Faq and it says that it looks for this every time it crawls the site. It does not matter if you have a sitemap submitted or not.

    What a PITA when you have a few dozen sites.

    One big question, aside from lettin G know it's your site. Does this open any back doors / data points for google to get more information from your domain, or others housed in the same ip block?
