CJ requires some or all affiliates to pay to be able to get access to datafeeds, I believe that is correct. Someone else may be able to elaborate on this more. I don't host a feed with CJ only SAS Free for all

If you have made less than $10,000 you have to pay a one-time fee of $200. They debit your account. I finally got out of negative numbers today. It has taken a while. Most of it, though, I did in the last month.

Hah, I remember going through that a while back.

I thought the fee was $250...? Maybe I got ripped off.

That's one of the things (among others) that went into our decision to go with SaS. Our data feed on SaS is free to our affiliates. From what I understand it only costs us $1.00 per affiliate who goes with it - so we're happy to pay it.

Congrats on getting out of the hole - now it's clear sailing!!

Is this a one time fee or a monthly expense? I ask becuase I have feeds I'm not using yet on sas and I don't want to ad cost to the merchant if I'm not going to impliment them in a timely fashion.

Suzigeek - The fee charged to SaS merchants is a one time fee. As a merchant, the fee is only incurred if the affiliate requests FTP access to the merchants datafeed and the merchant approves the request.

johnnyWebAffiliate - Congratulations on pulling yourself out of the CJ datefeed hole. If you have not already, be sure to check out Share-a-Sale as feeds are free for affiliates (from the best of my knowledge).

    To your success,

You can choose the type and/or delimiter. Tab, CSV. XML, Pipe, maybe something else. I don't remember if this is all of them.

    Thanks that's helpful.

I think I'll wait till I make a 10,000 before I use CJs feeds, in the meanwhile I'll use the free feeds available from everywhere else.

    cool..

you must be earning over 10,000 in a month.. can i ask how you are doing that? dont need to give out specifics.. just what type of sites are you building? datafeed sites? and if so what do you use to build your data feed sites.. do you use a program that you insert your datafeed into..
