    What does {KeyWord:myKeyWordHERE} mean?
    What does it mean in AdWords when they put a phrase in those curly braces? I've been trying to figure this one out...

    Dynamic keywords. You put that bracket thing in your ad and if someone searches on one of the keywords in your keyword list, that keyword will be inserted in that bracket thing.

    I gathered that it did something like that but I wasn't exactly sure what.

    so if I have an AdGroup called "Used Sox" with words like
    sox
    used sox
    filthy sox
    dirty sox
    reprehensible sox

    would I want to create the following ad?

    {KeyWord:Used Sox}
    Come get your used sox
    they smell terrible!
    www.usedsox.com

    I'm still a little shakey on this one...

    Yeah and if someone searches for dirty sox, that will appear in the title in the above ad. You'll see a CTR increase overnite. I think you can also do that in this part:

    Come get your used sox
    they smell terrible!

    But I've never done that myself. I've just done it for the titles of the ads.

    Okay...and here is the tricky one. I am taking over our AdWords account from someone else so I'm new to this.

    So lets say that you are ALSO running an AdGroup called "Used Clothes." Is it possible to have the following ads both running under the "Used Clothes" group?

    {KeyWord:Used Clothes}
    Come get your used clothes
    they smell terrible!
    www.usedshoes.com

    {KeyWord:Used Sox}
    Come get your used sox
    they smell terrible!
    www.usedsox.com

    I saw something like this running in my current AdWords campaign and it was most puzzling...what is this doing exactly? Does that mean that whenever someone searches for "Used Clothes" they have a chance of being served a "Used Sox" Ad?

    Actually...

    I think it should be structured more like this:

    Keywords:
    used shirts
    used underwear
    used pants
    used hats
    used sox

    Ads:
    {KeyWord:Used Clothes}
    Come get your {KeyWord:Used Clothes} here!
    they smell terrible!
    www.usedclothes.com

    That way, anyone searching for "Used Clothes" might get served with any of those products.
