Hi,

As you can probably guess international affiliates(hint, me!) have many problems with checks, so I'll make CJ deposit my money into the account of a relative that lives in US, I would like to ask, does US gov. takes tax income from these direct deposits? And if yes how much % ?

    thanks..

    iucpxleps,

If I understand correctly, you will have your $ going to a US based relative. If that is the case at the end of the year that person needs to pay a portion of that income to Uncle Sammy (IRS), the percentage is based on income levels.

If I may, set up an non us based account in a US bank and do it that way.

Maybe CJ will do Paypal in the future then you get a paypal account and use those monies from a Visa/MC debit card account.

To my knowledge, CJ does not take out for taxes, period. I could be wrong, especially with an international account.

That said, if the checks are going to a friend's account, that friend will be held liable for the US income taxes for those monies.

It's honorable of you to consider the income tax risks that your relative takes for your affiliate commissions. If they take out one of those mail order "preacher licenses" for 25.00 and open a bank account under a dummy church name they pay no taxes. Call it the "Church of the Abused Affiliate" and we'll hold sunday services here at ABW.

PS: PayPal is boycotted by MasterCard and no longer accepts any MasterCard transactions or funds transfers.
