What a huge disappointment, they've been a pretty good merchant of mine for a while. Hopefully this is just temporary or due to a mistake and they'll be back up shortly...

Thanks for the heads up on that one! I didn't receive an email about it, thanks a lot CJ. At least I can turn off my paid advertising to CarrotInk now without loosing a lot of money.

I hope it is just a mistake. Carrot Ink is usually a pretty good money maker for me.

Yes, thanks for the note. I also found FreeStyleShop and DirectGardening have bitten the dust... let's hope it's only temporary -- at least for Carrot.

UPDATE!

I have been doing some research...

Visit the Carrot Ink Affiliate Information Page Here:

http://www.carrotink.com/webapp/wcs/...atalogId=10001

Notice that there is no mention what-so-ever about Commission Junction!

Now check out this page:
http://web.archive.org/web/200106030...tore+FrontDoor

It is the same page as above but in January of this year.

I don't think we will be seeing Carrot Ink back in the near future at CJ. I have tried calling them but was put on hold for 25 minutes. I just sent an email and will post what I find out. I hope that I am wrong but the way things look they are gone.

My guess is that it is probably some kind of glitch.

Why aren't some of us receiving deactivated notices. Whats up with that?

Looks like Carrot's off the deactivated list.

I won't be putting their links back up until I hear from an authoritative source that this was indeed an accident and not a sign that they are soon going to trash their affiliate program (as Core's little piece of investigative journalism does seem to indicate).

Someone's (Carrot or CJ) got some 'splaining to do.

Rex, I agree with you. This on off again on again crap is starting to get old. My ink pages are getting good traffic so I had to yank them. It might be awhile before they go back up.

They are back, They were deactivated for less than 24h. Never seen an email from them. I assume their account run out of fund and they were fast to wire money to CJ.
