...if you could send just one link in an email newsletter?
How about an email newsletter that will be delivered to 250,000 'opt in subscribers' tomorrow?

I am currently in a spot, I guess you could call it writers block... I just keep drawing a blank. Any ideas on a Cj merchant? I must be missing something here!?

Seriously... anyone who solves my quandary will be awarded a gift of astonishing value!

If it's literally going out tomorrow, this would be a good time for a page of Mother's Day gift suggestions. Maybe use the idea of "gift mistakes" to avoid, use a little humor, give all those guys some support in an area where they might be a bit nervous, or maybe simply haven't thought about it very much.

And, on that page, I'd include a signup box for my own newsletter!

I was thinking the same thing Buckworks, what not to give mom and great specials and ideas for mother's day.
A powerdrill is a handy tool, but I really didn't want one for mother's day!

Combine the above with Mother's Day (remember wives are often mothers) and I'd promote CJ merchant RomanceHer.com.

They consistently convert at about 1:78 for me (and I've sent them quite a bit of traffic over several months). They also pay 15% and my average sale with them is about $45.00

If you need to promote a specific product, select somthing out of the roses category -- gold-dipped and chocolate are very popular.

I'd do Golf- with Mother's Day....
Throw in some humor like Elizabeth said, and you'll still catch the loner guy looking at golf clubs... Just a thought.

    Tis The Golf season.
There's no better way to say "Thanks MOM" Then a new set of golf clubs for her to sharpen up her game. Or Perhaps you can just borrow her's and get out of her hair for the day....

Jeez...getting a little tired....I'll quit before I make a total fool of myself tonight...

    Breeze,

I would have to say ink cartridges. The reason being is that the percentage of people that will get your email will have a printer is about the highest you can find. It is something they all will need at one time. As long as you can get them to click on the link you set the cookie which in most cases is high. Also the commission is high so you will make out better even if you get a low response to it. I think the main thing though could be at least setting the cookie for a purchase down the road. JMO!

Ah the joys of giftgiving on Mom's day. Easist way is to signup with Overstock and use their affiliate enabled e-mail Mom's day special flier with appealing gifts. See the sample I cut and pasted into a promo page for them ... www.ecomcity.com/impulseads.htm which their affiliate manager Shawn talks about in their formum section at ABW.

When your ready to blast this list with a high conversion deal for Day's day contact me about Holdup Suspenders www.suspenders.com who fit this group like a glove. They close 1 sale per every 20 clicks for 2 years straight and Sal Herman would probably cut you a HyBred deal for the 90% male crowd. I could set in place custom affiliate tracking and payout through their Yahoo store I built for them or install an affiliate management script.

First off your way to young to be my mom. Maybe sis or somthing. Secondly Breeze never said anything about mothers day that I see anyways. I am giving him my opinion as to what I think he should do. He said about sending it out tomorrow which I believe is today??? For that many people I owuld pick something with a long cookie just to cover the people that do click through.

As for My Mommy! <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon12.gif> She gets a dozen rozens or planters for the yard each year along with either being taken out to dinner or a beef tenderloin on the grill depending on the forecast.

Hmmm, maybe I could save some money though this year with ink cartridges. <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon12.gif>

I don't think it's an adult prog per se, just my content advisor thinks there is nudity and whatever.
I went to the site via the url, and it's really just a directory, must have links somewhere for the content advisor to jump up!

Heyder I can get through to the click program but when I click on "visit ifriends" the content advisor jumps up and says it will not allow me to see this site as it may contain:
    Level 4 provocative frontal nudity
    Level 4 explicit sexual activity
    level 4 explicit crude language!
and it says the page ranking was obtained from the web page????

    MJ,

'ifriends' (Internet Friends Network) is a 'cyber - [bsex[/b]]ish' CUseeMe type thing, that is why.

I'm surprised you guys didn't catch it earlier...don't you remember all of the complaining by Gaye Vaskas about the IFriends Network. There was somebody there with a user of 'songwriter4u' and it had adult content. I think she complained to them (or somehow otherwise ended up on a mailinglist). She was getting tons of porn from them. There were 2 things she had splattered all over her site...Tom Pyles and IFriends.
