Why am I a newbie again?
I had built up a pretty decent number of posts here, but this month I decided it was time to change the email address used here (I didn't change my account name, just the email address associated with the account). A few days later, I realized that many restrictions had been restored to my account, and today I saw that my post identifies me as a "newbie."

What gives? Is there some way to recover my earlier status?

How many times do we have to go through this with you?

You really only have 11 posts under this email account, email me the other you may have used and I'll look into your claim.

Oops - I did change my user name and email
In looking this up, I realize that I did change both my login name and my email for this account -- from "tim-store" to "markwelch" and from "" to ""

Since I changed both my email and my login id, it makes more sense that my prior identity would be "disconnected" from the new one. (As of August 5, 2005, I had made 127 posts from the "tim-store" login.)
