I have built up an opt in newsletter follwing that is 6000 strong - my ISP has contacted me and asked me to discontinue using them as the mail server or upgrade to a full blown business package - very expensive. Can anybody recommend an affordable service? I send the ezine out weekly.

If you can implement a CGI script, check out http://www.cgiscriptcenter.com/subscribe/index2.html -- run the entire thing from your web site, so it doesn't touch your ISP's servers (unless they are also your web host).

You could also use Yahoo's egroups e-mail groups and forum. You can upload 50 addresses at a time and send the group HTML enhanced newsletters. Be sure to inform the group members to OPT-OUT of yahoos new default member settings that spam them with Ads....UCK!
