Thumbs down IMO Value Click Media has sunken to a new low
Since Value Click Media merged with Websponsors, the quality of their lead campaigns has declined. However, this one takes the cake!

The lack of morals Value Click Media has shown by accepting a campaign like this is shocking. Cashing in on the vicious murder of 6 year old child is reprehensible. Personally, I will not be running ANY of their campaigns on my site while this trash is on their network.

I am just surprised the text doesn't read - Was JonBennet murdered by John Mark Karr, install Zango and find out!!!

They really are the lowest of the low. I don't even bother calling my rep there anymore. I don't own enough soap to clean me off after the conversation.

What is the name of this wonderful campaign?

The Adwhores don't give a damn about the answer ...they want fresh privacy info to peddle to direct marketers with made up relivancy info. Regardless of the poll results or questions the wankers are just data mining for profit.

My take on the entire subject is it should have been quashed by allowing this perverted POS to kill himself in a Bangkok jail. The cops should have cut off the sensationalizm smut peddling news whores by dropping the cross dressing perp out of a prison transport plane right on top of the Boulder Colorado jail, and then claim ignorance they didn't know how it could've happened.

    Nasty people. Nasty site.

Check out what McAfee SiteAdvisor has to say about them: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/pop...y.com?aff_id=0

Some people should go directly to jail.
The management at Value Click is not worth more than John Mark Karr. ad nauseum.

Have two windows open in your browser, both showing your site.
On one of them type in the URL popculturesurvey.com and go to that site.
On the same window, now type in cnn.com (example) and click enter.
See what happens to the first window that was showing your site.

    It's not a pop-up, mind you.

Good thing CJ warned people away from fly by night CPA networks. Because, gosh darnit, people should only trust the likes of CJ. Children being killed is cool!!! You guys are all just sticks in the mud.

I yanked my fastclick/valueclick ads. i have had enough. Also wrote the only cj merchant I give a crap about to please move off CJ already. Who in the hell wants to be the last rat on that sinking ship?

If you are a CJ merchant, why? Seriously, why?

Ask yourself, do you like zango? Do you like one part of the company saying don't embrace them, while the other promotes them? Do you like promotions like this? Are you really so low in life that you will promote the death of a child for a buck? Is your company that desperate to keep company like that?

    I hate this industry.

That ad made me sick all night.
No wonder why there's no more CJ reps at ABW. I'm wondering how their employees can work for such a company.

Does fastclick manually approve these campaigns, or is it set up so that advertisers can just upload their latest stuff without review?

Fortunately, my Fastclick account was free of this disgusting campaign when I checked it just now.
Even so, do you have any replacement suggestions? (Keeping in mind that I don't get lots of traffic to the sites I have fastclick on.) I'm sick of the constant deluge of parasiteware ads I (which I block when I see 'em) as it is, and this latest low only makes it worse.

No wonder why there's no more CJ reps at ABW. I'm wondering how their employees can work for such a company.
Old CJ employees've been jumping ship all the way up to the highest levels. Maybe the original CJ people do have limits...

Wow... 291 e-mail spams a weeks, plus opening up your system to drive by installs of BHO's.

It's bad to have that picture ad (email02sd.gif) posted in here, and I think it's even a worse idea to have the link to http : // www . pop culture survey .crap as a real clickable link, because that would give more link popularity to those low BS sites.

It is good to have the picture here. Why hide it? People need to see what valueclick has become.

Leave the picture, it paints a thousand words.

As for the link, these "people" (I use the term loosely) don't use seo to "promote" (again... loosely), they're spammers and adware / spyware / parasiteware users. It won't help them. But it may make ABW come up for searches about them. Leave it as well.
