... I've got email that will help me enlarge my member by 8", email that will show me the youngest babes on the net. I've got emails that will help me get all the credit cards I want and emails that will show me how to get out of credit card debt if I am a home owner. If I am not a homeowner, I've got email to help me get a mortgage.

I've got email that will help me find anybody on the face of the earth and email that will help anybody find my website and if I don't have a website I've got email that will help me build a website.

All these things cost money, but I'm lucky, because I've got email from some guy in Nigeria that will put a couple of million dollars in my bank account.

I used to reply to all the rude e-mails with 'I am a priest(I'm not), please do not e-mail me again', but that never seemed to help, lol.

These things go in waves.. at the moment it's ummm size enlargement and mortgages. A few weeks ago it was Human Growth Hormone (that's from DEAD people).

I've seen about half a dozen "8 girls and one guy" emails today.

What's the phrase....? "This is not spam - you're receiving this because you signed up to one of our partner websites" - my arse did I, it should read "This IS spam - you're receiving this because we scraped your email address off a webpage like the low life scum we are."

I bet it would help to reply that you are a 13 yr old and that if they send you any more you'll tell your parents. Well only if they really got the email but they don't<IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon36.gif>

How about the 13 year old daughter of a federal judge? I say go after the host. The host doesn't want to deal with the legal issues because "the laws in your(my) state forbid unsolicted e-mails, and both the host and the spamming party can be held responsible." Their are other ways to get to the host to not only shut down the site, but to go after the offending party. It can be quite fun, but I'll leave the details (ie secrets) off the boards

If you're really sick and tired of the spam mail, check out www.spamcop.net. They have a great filtering and reporting service for Spam mail.

Too bad they don't have an affilate program..

I think these people are psychic,I get a email every day covering one of these areas I need help in.I did figure out how to cut my debt,Every week I put everybody's name in a hat that I own money to and draw out 3 names and pay them.I had one bill collector call and ask why he didn't get a payment a certain week so I told him about my system
and told him his name didn't come up.He said he didn't think too much of my system so I told him I've leave his name out of the hat if he didn't like it.

I was using Mailwasher because of the reviews it was getting. To be honest, it isn't really much different than simply deleting the mail from your In box because you have to download the message headers anyway. It hung up a lot, confused my servers, and caused my machine to crash. Sorry but it was a lot more bother than it was worth.

LOL - I actually DID have something going on like that for a while - totally freaked me out.

Every time I would join a new affiliate program, I would immediately start getting flooded with SPAM promoting that very company or product ... but at an address that I have NEVER used for joining affiliate programs. I was really spooked -thought maybe I had a Trojan horse.

Fact of internet life is that every single FREEBEE offering has direct links to a group of spam farmer. Just ask Fred how his latest MLM and FREE offerings plan on reaching 10 million eyeballs by saturday.

as far as:"I used to reply to all the rude e-mails with 'I am a priest(I'm not), please do not e-mail me again', but that never seemed to help, lol." That line will sure get your on the porn e-mail list!!

a few years ago, I started getting porn email from this guy who had the usual string of lewd domain names and circular contact info in his whois records. I tried emailing him directly to the one seemingly valid email address I could find, but that just increased the amount of the spam (DOH!) - he added me to the lists for all his domains. I managed to track down an actual street address after about 2 weeks of obsessive research, but couldn't find a phone, etc., for the company. I did know it was in one of those ugly, out on the edge of town business parks because I found listings for other compnaies in the same complex - very "upstanding" sounding companies (printers, accountants, etc.). Finally I gave up and resigned myself to the spam. About a week later I was channel surfing and I happened to flip by an informercial for one of those "computer skills" kind of schools you always see on TV, but what caught my attention was the scene - they were shooting in front of the location of the school, and right there was THE ADDRESS OF THE SPAMMER GUY! He was in the same complex! I went in and sent him another email to the effect that if he didn't take me off of every one of his lists I was going to make a nice flyer and mail it to all of his neighbors there telling them all about what kind of business he was REALLY running in his little office.

I never got another piece of email from any of his domains.

Spam doesn't reach eyeballs. I just open the first one and arrow down until I see a real e-mail and then hit delete.
Most never get opened. And, the one that is opened is not actually looked at. Nor are the pop up windows that come with them. Closed before they even load.

The other option I have is that I can go to my host on the net and just delete spam before opening my mail program.

at least 95% of the spam is never seen by these eyeballs.
