As you all know, we do a lot of work with the music industry. A friend of mine over at the Fox network (local Fox, not FoxNews) sent this to me. I don't know if it is legit, but he says it is. Look at this
musicians page

Look at the band members carefully and you will recognize the moron that was putting pipe bombs in mailboxes in the midwest.

Hi Tom,

Most likely it is. They said something on the news about Apathy and the kid who did the bombs. They said he hangs on the internet and so on.

Jeeesh, I think they said the kid has never gotten in trouble before. I tell ya, too much crazy stuff in the world!!

Yup...what a way to make a statement. When people act like that, I lose any interest in having to hear what they have to say, and they are doing their cause a great disservice. Reminds me somewhat of the way 'some' anti-abortion things have gone. I'm all for their stance on the issue, but the few that decide to blow up abortion clinics or kill doctors...they lose me at that point. Same with any political agenda, I suppose...

Tom,

One of his tunes was played on the Glen Beck show today. Man, does his band suck. From what I can tell he is out for some publicity.
Heck he was pulled over in Oklahoma and 3 other times over the weekend before the APB was put out. He wants to be a star and now he has his fifteen minutes at the expense of innocent people.

And what was that previous conversation you and I had about people getting airplay? In his case, I'm sure it is more than that. Imagine if the damage were worse though...like the Unibomber...wonder if it would have sold any CD's

You never know but he sure looked awful excited to be arrested. The video that was shown here showed him jokin with the cops and acting very glad to be seen.

BTW, the song they played was essentially one chord and bad lyrics. I am sure they, as well as we, liked it after consuming a case of beer and inhaling carbon monoxide from the running car parked inside the garage where they recorded it.

He has been quoted as saying that their were only 3 things that mattered to him in the world; his music, his girlfriend and his band.

Had he been the Unibomber would he have sold CD's? A few probably by kids as confused about right and wrong as he. Hope this cycle doesn't continue.

That's crazy stuff he did! He probably did want attention, although I don't think CD sales was the motive. Probably more of a "feeling important" thing...a "Look what I did, everybody's afraid of ME!" reaction (on his part), and the fact that the mail wasn't delivered in some areas would have topped it off.

I'd say after a few years in prison he will get over his current opinion, whether it's because he realizes he did wrong or just thinks being in prison sucks.

Too bad for him that his term won't end when his enjoyment of his 15 minutes does (as in, aw, too bad, let him rot)!

I never saw the video of him....I only saw the woman that was in the car behind him that called police...Any idea what kind of time he's looking at? Even though this would have always been considered a serious crime, after 9/11 and the stance on terrorism, I'm sure he's not getting any breaks.

Wanna bet he just loathes Celine Dion and Michael Bolton who upset his garage band chances for success?? He's a real looser the moment he downloaded Morpheous, but he can use it as a defense claiming it's virus efffect his mental state.

Life.

I read he is looking at a life sentence or several sentences that will amount to the same thing.

That he so enjoyed his arrest won't help him, I think. It will be hard to use the insanity plea.

It's sad. He's just a Dumb Kid. Trying to make a Smiley Face on the Map! GAWD!
