    YfDirect/Netblue problems/question
    Hey guys,

I've been having some problems trying to get in touch with people over at NetBlue. When I email who used to be my account manager it notifies me that he is no longer with NetBlue. I dont know what number to call Netblue from to speak about my publishers account. Im not getting any answers from them, my account manager used to always answer me in less than 1 day and always beat payouts, now he's gone for some reason .

The question I had is if anyone could help me out with what to add at the end of a link to track information like the user's ID, which would be useful in an incentive site to credit the user for completing an offer. Does anyone know what the DirectTrack system requires to log info on the lead?. I know cpaempire, yfdirect/netblue, xy7 and clickbooth have the same system so Im guessing tracking info on the links would require the same ending. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

What would I put at the end of this link for info to be tracked?

    Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't that info be available when you login? I would get it from there or talk to someone from the network to know for sure.

    DJMast3r,

For all DirectTrack Networks, Sub ID tracking is available by simply appending information at the end of this URL. A total of 256 characters may be appended and stored with the click.

Delimiters: Supported delimiters include ASCII characters with these exceptions:

    & = ? @ # ~ /

If you choose to URL encode the optional information twice, the use of a pipe ( | ) should not be employed.

    Example:
If you wish to track keyword data and report against sales activities. The affiliate might append to their standard affiliate URL information relative to the location and keyword. The total affiliate URL may look like:

    http://partners.yfdirect.com/z/4403/CD1851/kw=lunch|searchengine=google|place=xe4

The reporting for this information will then be found by clicking on the "Optional Information" link under the Statistics area in the affiliate interface. The will provide you with a CSV export.

    I hope this helps.

DJ, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "GET the userid". I was under the assumption that you were simply looking to pass a userID. If that is the case you would simply append it to the end of the link such as

    http://partners.yfdirect.com/z/4403/CD1851/userid

    or

    http://partners.yfdirect.com/z/4403/CD1851/userid=xxx

    If not, please clarify

    Romanis,

I recently signed up to an affiliate newtwork which uses DirectTrack for tracking but I have some concerns about the "Sub id" feature as their code is a little different than the other DirectTrack networks, so if you confirm the examples below, I will be very glad.

According to the examples you provided, I understand that if I want to track success of any campaign I run, I must pass some information to Directtrack software. In return, Directtrack will generate a csv report for me.

    Example:

Let's say that I am running a campaign on google for an offer and I am using 2 of my sites "site1" and site2"

Now, if I want to get some details about the convertion ratio of the traffic I receive from Google I must simply add something similar to this:

    http://example.directtrack.com/z/863...traffic=google

If I also want to know which of my sites produce better results, I should add another part as this:

    http://example.directtrack.com/z/863/CD258/traffic=google|site=site1
    or
    http://example.directtrack.com/z/863/CD258/traffic=google|site=site2

If everything is correct untill now I want to give another example from the network I recently signed up.

Their link already comes with a "sub id" and it includes one of these characters "& = ? @ # ~ /" which you mentioned that can NOT be used in the sub id field.

The link is something like this:

    http://example.com/link/z/5581/CD3671/&dp=0

    So here is my concerns:

1-It already includes a "&" character in the sub id part which is not allowed. How can this be possible?
2-If I want to place a similar sub id to my links such as "http://example.directtrack.com/z/863/CD258/traffic=google|site=site1" where should I place the code? Will this "http://example.com/link/z/5581/CD3671/&dp=0|traffic=google|site=site1" work?

Thanks in advance for your help...
