    Lighthousefiber.com - Should I Bother?
Last Commissionable Transaction through Affiliate: 01/19/2006
They have been at SAS for nearly 3 years and all there EPC stats are zeros. Is there a possible reason to be interested that I am missing?

    And there it is:
    NO!
    Don't bother!

That last aff sale was about 8 months ago...

    Fiber optic assemblies?!

They may have their Code messed up, but it's probably a case of lack of demand. I'd think most installers wouldn't get theirs from some retail place like that... (and if they do get 'em from Lighthouse, it wouldn't be via the retail arm...)

One of my suggestions in the Suggestion thread touched on this. For SAS to start going thru the 1000+ merchants (50%+) that have EPC of $0 for 7 day and 3 month. And checking if they still exist, have all the tracking scripts necessary, do a compliance test on them all.

That sounds like a great suggestion. All the zero merchants must give off some negative vibes to a merchant or affiliate considering SAS for the first time.

I totally agree, not only for someone the first time but even after a while seeing it. They have a big impact on the perception of quality of the network.

    SAS doesn't have the 3-month as a stat. It's 30 days.

What I think of $0 for 30 days depends on what they're selling. If it's not seasonal, I think they should have an EPC unless it's a new program with only a few affs yet. If it is seasonal, the EPC's probably going to suck in the off-season.

As for the compliance testing, I just looked at some of my merchants, and I see that some have had compliance tests more recent than their last sale. So apparently they do look at some of them, at least.

Attempts by email to contact them have failed in a responce. Don't know what the issues are but with no responce I am looking for a replacement.
I think a compliance test would be an excellent idea for merchants who show a drastic change in thier statistics within a network.
