This is an old commodity futures brokers story.

Once upon a time there was a warehouse full of pork bellies. And people were buying and selling the pork bellies to beat the band.

The price of the bellies was going higher and higher as more people wanted to make money from trading pork bellies.

One day Chez Noir, Cedric, Chinaski and Dignan all got together and bought all the pork bellies.

They were overjoyed and ran down to the warehouse because they wanted to eat some bacon. And lo and behold when they got there they found all the pork bellies were spoiled.

They got real angry and ran over to the warehouse manager and complained and complained. And they asked the warehouse manager what he was going to do about it.

    He replied:

"I'm not going to do one darn thing, pork bellies are for trading not eating. Any fool knows that."

    Good one, Chinaski.

I'm sure the story wouldn't lose much if it were spam instead of PB. But, it would be more to the point.

Thanks for proving my point professor. The last in always get screwed. Just like in your scams.
