If a person were to spend a bunch of money promoting a certain program then I would want to know that the industry may be around for a long time and not just a fad

I don't think affiliate marketing is the right place to look for guarantees of anything.

go to CJ Account Manager, click on "Get Links" at the top. Type in "Top 5 merchants" in search bar and you get the list . kidding..

There are no top 5 merchants in AM.
Every Affiliate Marketer have their own Top 5 merchants. Make your own.

If there were a voting booth of Top 5 Programs:

My Top 5 Programs are: most will show at random or the very less performers.
    IRS

Since there are so many different industries within AM (from shoes to mortgages) it would be hard to tell which are the Top 5, and for what reason they are the top 5.

    Hi Zonkaro,

    Welcome to ABW

If a person were to spend a bunch of money promoting a certain program then I would want to know that the industry may be around for a long time and not just a fad.
Perhaps you are already with us, if not this might help answer that question:

online spending for furniture will increase 17.4% between 2005 and 2010

could you make a killing selling Office Furniture? Like $1,000.00 and up bonuses

Affilate marketing is a business. I don't think that anyone is looking for gaurantees just areas of concentration that make sense.
