I just Received this from Global Sports. I'm an Ashford Affiliate and emailed them about their appearance on www.parasiteware.com as carrying Morpheus as an affiliate. Contrary to some who've posted here about Ashford, I've had a highly satisfactory experience with them to date. Here's what I received:

    <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Hello Robert,
Our new platform with BeFree is functional, but we are still working
out some small kinks, that will hopefully help sales.
With regard to your concern about Buyersport/Morpheus, we have
dropped them from Ashford (effective 3 hrs ago), as well as the rest of the
Global Sports group of partners' affiliate programs. Thank you for the
heads up. (I personally subscribe to Mr. Durrant's newsletter, to attempt to
keep in touch with affiliate thoughts/trends as much as possible)
I hope to monitor the parasiteware site in order to prevent
instances like this in the future. Please feel free to contact me with any
further questions as Michael has transitioned to a different sector of our
company. Thank you for your participation with us, and continued good luck
    for the future.
    Scott

PS: please feel free to mention our dropping of Buyersport/Morpheus (across
all of our companies programs) with any of your counterparts.

    So, some further progress.

Ashford -FogDog and all those sports sites at CJ were the first ones for embrace Gator ShopNow Ezula and then Morpheus. Global just recently took over Ashford who just ruined the Guild.com affiliate program. Always take a look at the Corp. aggregator's position and determine if it's sales or advertising. Global I wouldn't trust to run a vStore product category ..if they don't already. Pile of worms like CatalogCity with no real verifiable sales report tracking from the clugged e-catalog/cart interface back to the networks. I got spammed by them on some affiliate mgr. & program change, after they ignored multiple e-mails at BeFree asking them to turn on their shopping cart...I'll take this with a grain of salt. Ask them what their return day cookie is set at...save your breath..ZERO days. They were informed by me months ago about the parasites and just now found out ( when the bill demand arrived) about it....Ha Ha.

Mike: All I can say is that Ashford has been a stellar performer for me. I'll leave it at that.

As for Global Sports, this is, at least, a step in the right direction.

I'd post my stats for 2 years and make your jaw drop if I thought they wouldn't sue me. I'm just glad their going to stiff Morpheus and hope the others in their group do the same. None of them are used to writing affiliate checks...so the red alert light came on quick.

According to the email I got they've done just that:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>With regard to your concern about Buyersport/Morpheus, we have
dropped them from Ashford (effective 3 hrs ago), as well as the rest of the

go60Guy? - if you say you've had sales, you've had sales.

But when I heard Morpheus and Global were Not to Be, so to speak, my first thought was that Morpheus must have dropped *them*.

Icicle - My sales have been with Ashford which was recently acquired by Global Sports. So, the experience I'm referring to is largely not under the Global Sports umbrella. We'll see how it goes from here. I can say that Global has made some welcoming approaches to me.

Thanks Haiko. I see that FogDog is still listed. You may want to confirm with Scott at Global Sports that Morpheus has been removed at FogDog. I'll pm you his email address.
