    Cookie Priority
My wife made a test purchase with VitaminWarehouse and we are trying to figure out why we didn't get credit for the sale. She had been to Pricegrabber earlier in the day and that is where she found out about VitaminWarehouse. We have a spot for a Vitamin company so I signed up at SAS and put up a test link. Later in the day she used my link to go to VW and made an order but the sale didn't track. The Hit into VW tracked but not the sale. Dan the AM for VitaminWarehouse promptly checked it for me this morning and said that he sees the purchase and the last visit showing for the purchaser was Pricegrabber. It seems that if the entrance from my site tracked the sale should also.

If I was Pricegrabber, I want at least ˝ the commission for being the one source were she found out about the merchant.

But, If I was you, first I want to know why my wife didn't clear all the cookies from the machine before I joined the merchant, second, I would like at least ˝ the commission for being the one source from were the purchase was made.

What's the point? Most people won't do that before making a purchase, and for this to be a test we would want to be like most people. According to the merchant nobody will get credit for this sale. SAS missing out also here. I need to give her PC a look to see if there are clues there.

according to the AM there was no one credited with the sale. He checked his SAS stats.

I wonder if Pricegrabber has big cookies that trump other cookies?

This is something to think about because I affiliate with many of the merchants Pricegrabber affiliates with. My work is supposed to benefit me
I certainly don't want Pricegrabber or other big cookie hogs to jeopardize my chances for earning a commission.

Can't do that since my wife likes their product and prices. She is a big vitamin user, but I never hardly touch the wholesome stuff.

I'll give the merchant a temporary pass as their affiliate guy was prompt to check what he could and seemed very nice. SAS is checking their end out so the verdict is not in yet. I have only one link so no big loss to reverse course if need be.

bumpaw - The hit tracked but no commish.
Last Compliance Test Completed: 05-Oct-06 (today)
Last Commissionable Transaction through Affiliate: 10/04/2006 09:53.10 PM

The merchant is tracking affiliate sales, last affiliate sale recorded yesterday. (steady EPC)
You should ask again the AM who got the commission from your last purchase as it seems, merchant and SAS are recording sales.
