I always have such a hard time getting back to work if I go outside. Right now we have bright blue skies and the sun is shining. Nothing would make me happier than to go on the front porch with a glass of tea and read my new mystery book. But...I have lots to do.

Your post reminded me of the last winter shopping season. One afternoon I came into the living room, sat down and started watching TV. Suddenly it stroke me how beautiful the room is. The I started recalling of the last time I was there. 3+ weeks ago was what I arrived at... Talking about getting outside? It took me 3+ weeks to get from my study to the living room (which is just some 10 steps away)!!

My wife insists we should live by the lake or in some other picturesque area. She's probably just playing on my weaknesses. I love fishing. She knows that if there's a lake just 10 steps away, I will have no choice but get out!! [I love smart women]

I could go outside with the laptop...if only I remembered to bring the stupid power cord with me this morning!

Too bad because it is a beautiful day. And with Chicago in September, any day might be the last nice day until June!!

Here it's bright and.... windy.... DUSTY..... people with asthma are being told to stay inside. The view of the strip I usually have is obscured by dust and I can't see the mountains at all!!!

    Enjoy your beautiful day!!!!

I still love it here, lol. Just took me by surprize, I have heard of dust storms and never experienced one. To have miles of view extinguished... it's just weird! Especially when the sky is clear and blue and the sun is bright Not like a blizzard!!!!

At my age I can still experience new things, it's cool!
