    Table cell alignment
    Hello everyone,

    Sorry, but this is a newbie question:

    How do you align product images and text within the cells created by webmerge?

    I've managed to use the [WM-Record] tag to create a table with 3 columns and have put my product links and images into the 3 individual columns. So far everything looks quite ok, but there seems to a problem with alignment. Everything seems to be aligned more to the left. I'd like it to be aligned to center. This is my code below. Even though I've used the <center> tag, it doesn't seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

    [WM-RECORD width=400 cols=3]
    [WM-IndexLabel: Title RAW]
    <center>
    <a href="[WM-Field: ProductURL]"><img src="[WM-Field: ImageURL]"></a><BR>
    [WM-Field: Title]<BR>
    [WM-Field: Artist]
    </font><BR><BR>
    </center>
    [/WM-IndexLabel]
    [/WM-RECORD]

    Any help appreciated!
    Sorry if this has been asked before

    Thanks
    Edwin

    Out of curiosity, what happens when you put the <center></center> around the outside of the [WM-Record] tags?

    The way I usually accomplish this is a center attribute on a align tag for the table data or table row item. Something like <tr align=center> or <td align=center>. Not familiar with how webmerge injects tables.

    Thanks for the reply.
    If I put the <center> tags outside the [WM-Record] tags, the entire table will align to center but the items within the cell will not.

    If I put the <center> tags between the [WM-Record] tags and [WM-Index-label] tags, like this:
    [WM-RECORD]
    <center>
    [WM-IndexLabel: Title RAW]
    Webmerge will generate 3 columns but not all cells are populated with items (ie, some cells are empty). But strangely though, on those rows which do have all 3 cells populated, they seem to be pretty aligned to center.

    Hi,
    I tried to do this, and even without using the align tags, the cell items seem centered.
    <Table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    [WM-RECORD cols=3]
    [WM-IndexLabel: Title RAW]
    <center>
    <a href="[WM-Field: ProductURL]"><img src="[WM-Field: ImageURL]"></a><BR>
    <font face="Arial" size="2">
    [WM-Field: Title]<BR>
    [WM-Field: Artist]
    </font><BR><BR>
    </center>
    [/WM-IndexLabel]
    [/WM-RECORD]
    </td>
    </tr>
    </Table>

    However, when I open the completed webpage on MS Frontpage, I find that there is an extra empty column created to the right of the table which I have to manually remove.
