Redcats USA is announcing an important policy change to its Terms and Conditions across all affiliate programs for the Redcats USA properties. Effective September 7, 2006, unless authorized with express written consent from Redcats USA, affiliates are prohibited from bidding for search engine positioning on brand names or misspellings for any of the Redcats USA properties (Brylane Home, Chadwick's, Jessica London, King Size Direct, La Redoute, Lane Bryant Catalog, Lerner Catalog-Metrostyle or Roamans).

Please carefully read the additional Terms and Conditions below that outline the new bidding policy:


Affiliate agrees not to bid on the Redcats USA brand names (or any common misspelling or confusingly similar name) on any pay-for-placement search engine, including, but not limited to, Yahoo, Google, Miva, MSN, AltaVista, LookSmart, Ask and Kanoodle.


Affiliate agrees not to use "official site" or registered/trademarked symbol in search copy ads when referring to Redcats USA brands.


Affiliate agrees not to use Redcats USA brand names in the display URL on Google, Yahoo/Overture, or MSN. Affiliates may not mask their URL with any of the Redcats USA brands (refer to above).


Affiliates may not purchase and/or use any URLs that contain any trademarks or tradenames of Redcats USA brands or any common misspellings or mistypings of any of the foregoing.


Coupon Policy: Affiliate also agrees not to utilize, advertise or otherwise promote any Redcats USA brands' promotional code or coupon not made available to the Affiliate through ConnectCommerce or Performics without first obtaining written permission from the Performics program management team and/or Redcats USA.


Violation in terms may result in, among other things, immediate termination from the programs.


Redcats USA is providing affiliates with several weeks to comply with this new policy. If you are currently using any of the Redcats USA trademarks in any search engine positioning (including but not limited to Yahoo/Overture, Google, and MSN), please remove your bids by October 1, 2006.
