The guy who did it embedded some music.

Apparently hotlinked from his own site! (View the Source )

not sure if it is his site or some other guys' site.
If he is a good hacker, he will not lead the trail back to him

I would have thought so, too, but the whois info on the music site looks completely bogus. I'd think a legit site would have gone with private reg rather than saying that various nationalities of Lycos were their contacts...

    Could be unrelated, though.

The site is a high demand resource for security system installers and service organizations.

I just wish someone would restore from backup.

Don't you just love the way "haXX0rs" (forgive me if that's spelt incorrectly...) just crack any site with an exploit and then try to add some sort of political justification?!

    Restored...and a Mambo site.

I do not know what exploit was used, maybe they will tell me.

Definitely Mambo page and the last article was 2005. They probably haven't kept up with the software updates. Its like any other software that has online access you have to stay ontop of the updates or risk being exploited.

Also if you know anything about mambo you know how to get to the administrator login page...so you need to make sure you have good passwords.
