Good luck with the promotion Chuck. I wish we could have caged the dozens upon dozens of hummingbirds that grace our deck feeders and flowers each summer. They've headed south for the winter - so we'll look for them again next year!

We have hummingbirds all year long here in Los Angeles. We don't get "winter" so they don't need to leave. :-) We've recently started seeing battles going on between 5 or more hummingbirds for the feeder when before it was only 2 that fought over it ... Maybe we got your birds Alan.
    Peace,

Yes, for sure it is entertaining to watch the hummingbirds fight (or chew each other out) over the feeders and flowers. They are a part of our summer deck scene. But on the up side, not having them here for several months makes me appreciate them more when they return each year. And, we always have elk and deer hanging around to fill in for them so I guess I'll suck it up and manage....

You would have thougth that they would have used a picture of Charlie modeling the latest in cages.

I guess his agent over at William Morris couldn't get the contract signed.

Charlie was willing but Mike made a comment about the liberal press and the call went south from there!!
