October 19th, 2006, 05:03 PM #6No Delay - Human Error
This is Ben, affiliate manager at 4inkjets. We use CJ's pixel to track and we also use another offline tracking to 'backup' CJ's tracking to make sure affiliates are getting thier commissions. The 2nd method works independantly of cookies so this helps our affiliates with customers who block thier cookies. We keep a log of all transactions and upload them to CJ on a 24 hr delay.
From September 14 - 18th the script that uploads the files to CJ wasn't working. I instructed my developers to upload all orders from Sep 12 (to be safe) until the 19th. He uploaded 65% of the transactions we had in the last six months.
CJ. for some stupid reason accpeted orders that were older than 60 days even though the order id is supposed to be unique identifier and credited our publishers.
So the credit you saw was mistakenly posted to your account and the fee was the reversal becuase CJ could not unbatch them.
Sorry about the aggravation

Thanks Ben. Someone from 4InkJets already clarified it.
