Simply add in the following text between the quotes for the action part of the form at the start.

mailto:me@myaddress.com

Hope this helps.

your form mail program will need something like this
*FORM ACTION = "/cgi-sys/formmail.pl" METHOD = "POST"*
and then just add this (I think)
*input type=hidden name="recipient" value="your_username@localnet.com"*
*substituded for > <

Jada, If your email list is going to be worth having you will never be able to manage it in this fashion!

You need to install a cgi script that will handle all subs & unsubs for you.

Here is the script I used when I first started to compile my list.

(You can also use this script to send your newsletter)

It's pretty easy to install too. Let me know if you need any help!

Breeze,

I love these guys scripts. They are pretty easy to install. I'm using 2 other of their's right now. Does this one let you do double opt in? I need to convert both my lists over and have been looking around. My hosting company provided a list management script for free and preconfigured with my sites, but it's not double opt. I found one that looked pretty good for $39, but wouldn't mind a free one. And I want to host it myself (no free service). I just don't trust what my happen with all those email addresses.

Thanks if anyone knows a good double opt script.
