Thumbs up Win Full Conference Ticket by posting a blog comment
Vinny Lingham is running a contest on his personal blog and anyone (except merchants with affiliate sites on networks or employees of affiliate networks -- see official post for details) who posts a published comment on his blog and e-mails him the link to the comment (i.e. your comment) will be eligible to participate in a draw for one of three tickets.

The ticket is for a Full Conference Ticket at the Las Vegas Affiliate Summit Jan 2007 but in order to participate you must be a regular affiliate.
Merchants with an affiliate site or employees of an affiliate network are not eligible for this contest.

This contest is intended to inspire a diversified group of people to post comments to Vinny's personal blog.

The contest and rules thereof were posted on 09.27.06 to vinnylingham.com

Make a post and good luck

Check with merchants that have booths, many of them are running contests for tickets.

Everytime I go to Vegas I end up with a hospital bill 9 months later. So I really don't want to go to Vegas but I do want a ticket incase I do go so off to post my blog comment.

It's really easy to enter this contest

Some merchants might ask for more disclosure to enter/participate and win in their contests.

Vinny is merely asking for a blog post [and you know if I qualify then you need not be a rocket scientist *LOL* ] and an e-mail address.

I'll hand over the legal details *only* if I am a guaranteed winner

Rhia - are you offering a full conference ticket drawing for those who figure out the 7 letter name Billy alludes to?

No, the only thing that I can offer people is one of the smilies from this site in a sentence and a kiss from me
(If I were to sponsor a contest -- I obviously am not running a contest so I'll keep my kisses for someone else)

Billy is 5 letters and Kay is 3 which would add up to 8
So he's not a "lucky 7" but remember that 8 is the number of "new beginnings" depending upon the literature from which you draw your symbolism forth

9 is a very interesting number -- I've used it myself previously.

There's a Love Potion #9 and The Beatles made the number notorious (#9 and the fabricated story about Paul).

You must have heard about that fabricated story about Paul.
The Beatles made an experiment with a backwards recording that would chant on a backwards play, "Number 9 -- number 9 -- turn me on 'dead man' -- " i.e. the fabrication that Paul was dead.

    Talking
So where are all the blog posts?

Vinny didn't ask for your address, your birthday, your legal name, or anything that could lead to identity theft in order to participate in the blog commentary contest -- I thought you all would be knocking eachother over to post a comment to Vinny's blog

I bet some of you guys have multiple e-mail addresses (as I have) -- now is your chance to put those faux e-mail addresses to work. Cough up the legal details only when you've been assured that it's a real deal and you are a winner

Where are the posts? I'm getting a little bored over there -- give me something I can react to

I like posting to his blog -- no one has attempted an ad hominem attack upon me (yet) over there ...

And there is the German "nine".

I remember well the Paul controversy attached to # 9 too.

It takes 9 to make a baseball team
9 is the last number of teenhood
    the 9'ers are SF's pride.
9 is the largest single digit number
9 months to a full term pregnancy
9 the last four letters in the term that identifies the dog family
    DC 9
9 is sometimes the time I go to bed

I don't -- I don't think I was around for that -- but let's just say that the study of the controversy has been etched in time.

You could figure this out if you spent a little time on his personal blog
This guy knows something ... even if he didn't, heck people post things to my blogs all the time

He's also a member of this forum.

Vinny Lingham is the Founder of incuBeta & Clicks2Customers. He is an Affiliate Marketing & Paid Search Marketing Guru. [source]
Give the guy a break, he's getting so bored with seeing my posts most of the time that he decided to have a contest in order to relieve the boredom of interacting with me You'd get bored with my commentary too

So, has anyone made a post yet?

It can be short and to the point if you'd like or your commentary could be an analysis worthy of being cited from an article within The Library of Economics and Liberty
or it could be any comment the blog owner cares to publish

On the other hand, I encourage everyone to be as slow as molasses in January in terms of making that blog comment because then my chances of winning will be increased if there are not that many entrants.

Yes, I'm not on B lucky 7's payroll and he's a 10..... just ask his son., most definitely not an 8, that is too simple numerology to apply to him

I do not pimp sites, nor am I anyone's Ho

I have not revealed any of my sites on ABW and I truncated my name in order to comply with ABW's rules when I first became a member of this forum and had to choose a forum name.

I actually came across Vinny Lingham's blog prior to his generous offer and admired his blog sheerly for interesting, stimulating, and intellectual content -- plus, he has a friendly manner towards people who post in his blog.

I posted his contest in ABW as a friendly public announcement.
I truly believe that members here will not be subject to any dangers of disclosure (i.e. identity theft) by posting to his blog.

I believe his offer to be legitimate (he's a CEO of a few companies and his companies have won awards from Commission Junction -- I believe this profile
    http://www.revenews.com/vinnylingham/
enough to make a post in his blog under a first name only basis )

He is not asking for anything except a working e-mail address (and most people have multiples of those in multiple names depending on what the use of the e-mail is)
    • He did not ask for a telephone number or an address
    • He did not ask for a birthday
    • He did not ask for an occupation although merchants and employees of networks are barred from winning a ticket to this event.

The only "identifiable information" is a working e-mail and that could be a Hotmail, or a gmail, or a yahoo mail etc... it doesn't have to be your main e-mail.

This looks like fun -- if you win and you don't feel like supplying any additional information to him, I'm sure you can say, "Well, thanks for the offer, Vinny, but I posted a comment to your blog only for the sheer thrill of posting"
    I'm sure he'd understand

Oooooh yay! That's even better. I'd love to hear why people don't feel like posting.

Vote yay or nay -- it's all the same to me.

You see this was just a chance for me to create a thread and I'm having fun with it

I have no vested interests in either Vinny's blog or the contest.
I read somewhere that Vinny is "taken" -- married or some sort of serious relationship -- so I have no personal interest in creating any type of romantic link with Vinny.
I am not pimping for Vinny nor am I his Ho and I do not appreciate the suggestion

I am not getting a commission per person who signs Vinny's blog

This ain't no pay per lead scam
This ain't no pay per acquisition scam

Sign it if you want to, don't sign it if you don't want to. I really don't give a darn. The only thing I'm getting out of this is my ability to post laughing smilies (something I love to do):

1 - I only post on ABW. is the truth, if you're counting the PM's, that is still posting on ABW.

2 - I only post on ABW. is the truth, if you're counting the direct emails, that is not posting, that is emailing. So I am not posting to you via e-mail, because I only post on ABW.

Btw, you had let two birds out of the cage already.
