    Cool Live From New York!
    No, it's not SNL!

But it's a live EarthCam from 46th st. and Broadway, you can see people come, in and out of TGI all day, now you can try to see if you can spot any affiliate hanging around that corner.

Not a bad place to meet someone you only know from the internet, at least the world would be watching how that first meeting goes.

    Live From Times Square

Here is a free marketing idea!

Wear a T-shirt with your website logo with big bold letters , and just stay by those phone booths for a while, you can even call someone you know , and ask them if your .com is in focus , that way you may get more clicks to your site, for free.

    I NY!

I know a easier and more effective way
Just stand out side the TV studio in Times Square during the Morning show and then at GMA the next day
then at Fox and Friends the next day
    and so on

Yeah, they got lots of them, one place to find them:

    http://www.earthcam.com/

I finally got high speed earlier this year so I can actually check them out.

I know where that would be but it's not my usual hang-out

Sometimes I'll meet a couple of friends who enjoy going to a Dallas BBQs Restaurant in Times Square and then seeing a movie or something like that -- whatever -- we like those Texas sized Pina Coladas or the Margueritas

(There are Dallas BBQs Restaurants at various Manhattan locations and they offer some of the best priced meals with great drinks -- at reasonable prices.
My favorite locations are 3rd Ave & 73rd Street and also the one located at St. Marks on 2nd Ave in The Village -- The 73rd & 3rd Ave location is my favorite for its enclosed porch dining and for nostalgic reasons)

Next time we go there maybe we'll stand in front of the web cam
I'd be sure to let you know

I hope he wasn't kept on hold with the elevator music for long.

EarthCam is the coolest. When lived near Manhattan and wanted to know if it was a good day to do and take photos I would check the EarthCams.

Elevator music or the (Texas-sized frozen) drinks at BBQs? The ones with the double shots?

I suspect that if I had one of those giant frozen drinks I'd be quite content to listen to elevator music until the effect wore off.

I'm a happy, albeit slightly catatonic, drunk. I try to stay away from sweet drinks because they sneak up on you and before you know it you're having cheery convos with street bums and alley cats as you weave your way home.

One (with double shots -- but you can order with a single or even a non-alcoholic if you just want the look) makes me buzzed -- 2 whoa

If I finished the drink and I'm still eating I'll order a Diet Coke or a Club Soda with a twist of lime or something sensible. BBQS is a pretty fun place and a great place to hang out with friends.

You need to call our cell phones from yours when you are there so we know and can go to earthcam and look for you and you can tell us exactly where you are so we can see you
