Arrow Math Question - Fun Contest
    Let's refresh some math...

Question: If I take $15 and send this money to an affiliate as a "Geno Bucks" bonus on an action #1, and then take $30 and pay this amount to an affiliate as a bonus on the same action (obviously, the action #2 in the sequence), what would you call this in the mathematical language?

Prize: 15.00 Geno Bucks (instantly via PayPal!!)

Conditions: Responder that gives either the fullest or the most competent explanation gets the cash. Judgement mine.

    Looking forward to your replies.

Okay. Let me give you a further hint/clarification: if this affiliate performs the 3rd similar action for me, I'll give him/her $45 GB's, while with the 4th one he/she will get $60 GB's... and so on...

Any other ideas on how we christen this?

    Wild guess?

Question: If I take $15 and send this money to an affiliate as a "Geno Bucks" bonus on an action #1, and then take $30 and pay this amount to an affiliate as a bonus on the same action (obviously, the action #2 in the sequence), what would you call this in the mathematical language?
    Multiplication (A multiplicative increase)

Since that affiliate will receive $15 as a "Geno Bucks" bonus for every time he does an action #1, then if you pay $30 a bonus on the same action, is because you're going to multiply action #1, by action #2

    action #1 = $15
    action #2 = 2

    action #1 X action #2 = $30

    action #1 = $15
    action #2 = 2
    action #3 = 3
    action #4 = 4

    action #1 X action #2 = $30
    action #1 X action #3 = $45
    action #1 X action #4 = $60

You will multiply action #1 which = $15 for every other action that is = to action #1

But you can use the addition rule too if you want to make it different to end up at the same result.

    action #1 X action #3 = $45
    action #1 X action #4 = $60

Can you tell me what the remuneration for the action #5 will be, Sal?

Your answer is 100% correct, but I am still missing the proper mathematical answer to the "phenomenon"... Anyone else has any thoughts?

If you are asking for the actual equation, it is a linear regression:
    Y = 15x (where x= the number of transactions)

Hang around ABW, and you'll smile more often... BTW, guess which affiliate program's October promo is going to be entitled "Neverending Arithmetic Progression Bonuses", and 20 GB's will land in your PayPal account instead of the promised 15.
