    Richard, I think it's a bad idea to post the affiliate ID and the gender too.

    I just put XXXXX on the quote above, in order of not repeating those parts.

    Since this is an affilate forum, it's a bad idea to post affiliates ID and affiliates web sites.

    Why?

    Well........

    The main reason is that you as an affiliate, may not want the others affiliates on this forum to know about your sites or what is your affiliate ID.

    Why?

    Do competition ring a bell?

    If this was not an affiliate forum, maybe it would be beneficial for you to have your affiliate ID and affiliate web sites posted on every post, but since this is ABW, you better think before you post.

    Well, regardless who the affiliate is....congratulations to you That is a really nice sale.

    Richard
    I have an area on my site named something like.... some favorites that are featured on the site. Was showing two of my nieces while they were here yesterday the one site I'm making and they're telling me oooooh now we know what to get Aunt Kathy for Christmas since you've said they're your favorites then you must really like them. lol I don't have the prices included with any of the images shown. lol

    Mr Sal;

    I don't see the problem with posting an affiliates gender or posting an affiliates id. Showing the ID is not going to help anyone identify who that affiliate is or the website as there is no way an affiliate can see who that ID belongs to or which site the sale came from. If you notice I did not post the website nor would i ever do that for the reason you mentioned.

    The ONLY people that would know who that affiliate is would be AM that have that affiliate in their program.

    Kathy;

    We are one step ahead of you, we have been working on a new site design that will feature, "Gemdreamz Favorites" PLUS we will have a new improved search function for the gifts in Price range to make it easier for soemone to find , say a "Ruby ring under $300".

    I always try and look at the site from a visitors point of view and then place what I would want into the site.

    There's no posting of affiliate ids. There's no point to it. And you can find sites with that information.

    "To affiliate who had a sale of $4,120!!"

    That works fine.

    I have even seen merchants post sites like ad*****.com and I could figure out the site. I wouldn't do that either.
