One time I worked with more than 400 Affiliate Programs and I made money every month with all of them.
I had to cut down on the number of Affiliate Programs I'm still actively promoting, I'm still affiliated with most of them but I'm down to around 100 sending me a check every month.

Don't forget I did that the last 10 years. Add a few Affiliate programs every year and you'll get there.

You have at least 10 active Affiliate Managers at ABW. Each AM is in charge of around 10 affiliate programs, some more, some less. Add them in one of your sites and you're done. No need to duplicate the same website over and over. To be successful in Affiliate marketing, you have to be unique. Use your own words to promote them.

    Cool
I affiliate with about 300 merchants but get checks from just a few.

Incidentally, it is considered bad form here to ask to see our sites.

Please dont take this the wrong way, but does it really matter what we do?
Promote as few or as many as you need to make your own model a success.
It's not the number you have, it's certainly not the number I have, it's what you are doing with the merchants you have signed up with that counts.

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Back in the 90's it was easy to just signup for hundreds of programs and throw up banner and text links with some pre-sell spin. SERPs were easy and competition (other then spammers and CPC clicks cheats) not very bloodthirsty. You had to maintain a 2000.00 commission float balance to expect any flow of checks with Befree or Linkshare. CJ changed the draconian rule, loved by major merchants of 50-100 minimum and quarterly payouts. by announcing consolidated payments and a 25.00 min.

In rolled the 3rd world hord of globalization opportunists drooling over raping and pillaging American merchant's advertising budgets. Only screams come from having to get verified by some networks to get paid. Those booted for scumbag practices just join the CPA networks and continue on with their schemes.

Outside of the BHO's and coupon sites, who only sell one liner incentives, most non-feed affiliates would be hard pressed to showcase more then 50 merchants.

I have about 400 merchants at this time and only a few send decent checks, but it adds up. A couple years ago I had over 600 merchants. With 2000 unique visitors/day you can make a comfortable income. At 6000 unique visitors/day it's dreamlike. Today, with parasites and con artists lurking everywhere it's better to trim out the merchants that don't produce and work more to promote the honest ones that pay.
