i get less and less excited for the NBA as years go by. It's losing its appeal to me. However, I am excited for some NCAA b-ball to get started. Go SDSU Aztecs!

Same here, don't like it like I used to. But the Suns will win it all this season, it's their time. They almost went to the finals, add in Amare Stoudemire = NBA Champions.

    why does everyone say this

    the laker dynasty is over

the game is as competitive as it ever was & the star power is amazing

yao, lebron, tmac, duncan, kg, wade, etc. etc.

most playoff series' in the past two seasons going 6-7 games, lots of game winners & clutch plays...

    ur missing out :-P

I used to support Lakers for a while but since Shaq left am not following the game too much, although what Kobe does sometimes (e.g. 82 last season) is amazing.

Guess that Heat will have it again...

While David Stern's rule changes continue to support players, not teams, I think it is becoming evident that Dwyane Wade is not enough to guarantee the Heat another trophy this year. His supporting cast is poor, and it continues to get poorer...

Trust, I feel you about the Orlando Magic-- they're super hot right now. Championship-worthy? No, but they've got heaps of talent and a lot of passion. They're a great team.

As a Pistons fan, I have very little good to say right now. My team has won the last two-in-a-row for a 5-5 record so far, but they've got a lot of growing pains to continue to work out.

The finals this year? While its too soon to tell, I see Cleveland vs. San Antonio. And by the way, I hate the Spurs, and don't trust LeBron. In a perfect world, I'd love to see the Clipper take the West, they're a great TEAM without all-stars (you could argue Elton Brand), just like my Pistons who shattered the Lakers into pieces in 2004...

that's my 2 cents, let's hope it doesn't get reversed...

Pistons will once again shock the world. They were thought of too highly last year to do anything. What fun is winning when you are supposed to?

The Bulls will find out they massively overpaid for a guy that shoots 25% from the line, and actually helps the other team on the offensive end. Ben was good in one and one city only, although I can't blame him for taking the money.

It's time to go to work detroit.

Maim133, I couldn't have said it better myself. As a native Detroiter now displaced in Chicago (and loving it), I've found that many share our sentiments in this windiest of cities...

Maim, shoot me an email-- thethinktank -|- A T -|- g mail. I started a Detroit Pistons blog during the pre-season. I won't post here, as I don't want to break any rules, but I'd love for ya to check it out!

Damn, was just checking the standings.

Teams .500 and above winning percentage
    Eastern Conference - 4
    Western Conference - 12

Who's #1 in the East? Orlando Magic

Stoudemire sparks Suns' team-record 15th straight win
