Hi all

Below is an email that I sent to goclick.com on behalf of a friend.

-----------------------
Hi

I have an account with you as an advertiser and I have reason to belive
that one of your affilliates is committing fraud. I have suspected for some
time that clicks from http://search44.com/feed44.htm are not legitimate
and now belive that I have evidence.

I followed a link to http://www.pariskim.com/bottle.htm and was redirected
to http://search44.com/feed44.htm?query...riskim.com&os=

Any page from pariskim.com redirects to a variant of the above URL.

I belive many people are tricked into visiting search44.com/feed44.htm the
confused surfers often click on the links on this page.

My own reasearch indicates that the search44.com domain has no real traffic
and if you would be so kind as to visit the links below you will see that
the page generates random search results on each reload http://search44.com/feed44.htm http://search44.com/feed44.htm http://search44.com/feed44.htm http://search44.com/feed44.htm

I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.
--------------------------------

I got a quick response from goclick.com as follows...

------------------------------
Thank you for writing -- we took a look and cannot find this site as an
affiliate or partner of ours. We also looked to see if we could find any
listings being displayed through an outside partnership and could not find
any. Have you seen listings displayed on this site that are your goClick
listings?
--------------------------------

Can any of you help me find out who this person is really affiliated with?

Viewing the source is not helping me, I must be missing something obvious

When I visit http://search44.com/feed44.htm
and search for debts one of the url's is creditadvisors.com/index.asp?ref=goClick

Another search for poker online lists casinobonus4u.com/home.htm?ref=gclick

This appears to strongly indicate that this is an affiliate of goclick.com, no?

Any help is appreciated, my friend is recieving no traffic to her website because she has cancelled all of her listings the ppc firms until this is resolved.

OK I see what you mean now.
The ?ref=goClick is most likley used by the site to track clicks from that link in the logfiles.
I use the same method to track clicks on my banner ads from one of my sites.
e.g. thetargetsite.com?banner1
This way you can track which is your most effective banner(s) or link(s).

>>Any page from pariskim.com redirects to a variant of the above URL
pariskim.com looks to me like it is using bidclix.net

Hope this helps

I vaguely remember seeing some kind of "44" in my log files a few months ago.

Over's account went dead in January, FindWhat was gone around Feb. or Mar, and Ah-ha FINALLY used up the last 2 bucks about April. Sometime during that time, I saw a "44"-something go by...

Not very firm, I know, but it's the best I can remember. I didn't track down which PPC was responsible, but I know it couldn't have been GoClick because I never bid there.

Thanks leader,

That narrows it down to 7search or kanoodle.

You're welcome.

To clarify something--When I said those accounts "went dead", I meant the accounts *I* had there...not that they weren't dealing with the Search44 place.

From what I see is that Pariskim.com is an affiliate of Search44.com

Feed44.htm is their search script.
