Is it just me or has traffic come to a stand still. Stats are wayyyyy down today. Probably the worse traffic and clickthrough day I have had in months. A few batched sales and leads saved the day but wow things are crawling. Hopefully the rest of you are doing MUCH better.

It's hot outside here. Don't people know they are suppose to hang inside with the air conditioner on the computer in the summer.

Another thing. I haven't been able to get into Websponsors or Add funds to 7search. Anyone else having the same problems today?

Ummm Haiko, sorry I thought I was in midnight cafe. You can move this post there or where you see fit. The heat must be getting to me. I pity the people who live where it is REAL hot!

    I've moved this topic here.

Today's results are coming in okay but yesterday was like molasses until it finally cooled down.

Elbow, Funny you should mention little league tourney. I'm off to the last regular season game now for the youngest of my kids. Then his tourney starts tomorrow. The Oldest had a double header and is still playing. Daughter is just starting her second league and won't be done till August. Man I am baseball and softballed out. One good thing though kind of is I finally said NO to caching this year. First time in many years I get to just watch.

Leader, Yesterday wasn't too much better for me either. At least for the trickle in traffic the conversions haven't been too bad. Could definately be better. I think you might be right though about it finally being the summer blues that happen every year. Hopefully the Game section will cover the drop off in sales.

I'm expecting this upcoming week, starting from Wednesday night on, to be really bad for traffic. Thursday's the 4th of July, and the weekend after a holiday is usually pretty durn slow.

I should really do myself a favor and avoid looking at stats from the 4th thru the 7th! (ha!)

I'm going to be far away from all computers the 4th through the 7th... at first I thought I'd die of stats withdrawal, but my guess is it will be relief to not see that great vast wealth of nothingness that will probably happen.

    GB,

I'll tell you that there has been multiple occurances of router failures (natinonwide) for the past two days ... this has not been realeased for public awareness but I called a few backbones when I saw the problems.

It's amazing that the net works as well as it does. The complex routing and transportation of phone and data around the world often on cable decades old is absolutely mind boggling. Heck, in some areas of the country it wasn't but about 5 or 6 years ago that many phone companies finally began upgrading their switching equipment from World War II technology to digital. Signals being handed off from company to company. ISP's bouncing data from hop to hop. It's a mess of electrons teetering on the edge.
