I was almost being killed by a big tree
    Oh, man.
Today, I have one small job to do, parked my car besides a big tree, when lunch time, I went to my car and took out my lunch bag, I just walked few seconds away, I heard a big cracking noise, then I turned my head around, I saw that big tree falled down and hit my car, my car was serious damaged.

Because of the gusty wind, and tree was rusted inside, then it falled down.

I am really lucky, I am still alive.Maybe I need to buy a new car.

Wow, that's awful. It happened to a friend of mine. The tree landed so close to her that she was unable to move for a minute or so afterward because her muscles had contracted so violently in response to the shockwave when the tree hit the ground. We were eating dinner just across the street and at first I thought a bomb had exploded.

I hope you have good car insurance.

lucky? - That would depend on what you call lucky!
Are you sure? - Can you still talk to live people?
A new car? - If I was you, I would think about my next car next time! - Do you saw the movie "Christine"?

Alvin, glad you are ok. When something like that happens it makes you wonder .....

Be happy to replace the car, and not be in the hospital or worse...

I don't have good car insurance, hopefully the tree's owner--(city) will pay for that.
This morning I was feeling really good until my car was hit, the house NO. I parked is #666.And I told myself, 'This looks like a lucky NO. isn't it?' and then... 'lucky thing' happened.

This year, when I was driving, I saw one guy in the car ahead of mine shot the guy walking on the side walk. That's really bad feeling, untill now when I drive, this scene will show in my mind.I really can't forge it.

Glad to hear that you are Ok. Depending on where you are, the city or insurance might pay. Also depends on your policy. If you are in US, it's much easier to work something with the city.
though it sucks to be you, and I guess you would be *****ing bout my luck but sometimes, there are more important things than cars.. like ur life.

I called my insurance company, they told me they won't pay for that.My insurance doesn't cover that.
And I called City, they just said I need to fix the car and report to them. I will try to claim that, but they didn't tell me if they will pay for that or not. City own the tree, they should make it safe for people.
Today, I met those neighbors, they said, you shouldn't work on Sunday.
Maybe they are right, my boss's car should be hit, it hit the wrong car.I should point it where is my boss's car.
