It's coming down pretty briskly. Well at least it had the decency to wait until November.

    Rhea,
I'm thinking about you as I sit on my porch in shorts drinking my coffee and watching the wildlife. I anxiously await snow every year because it shifts people from buying shoes to buying boots that cost considerably more

We are going to have a cold snap this weekend, down to the 40s at night, but I won't be here to enjoy it as I will be in Vegas.

    Stay warm and stay dry

    Scoot

Well hello all you wacky Floridians (and others).

You know, I talked to my dad (he's in PBC) last week and it was warmer at my house than it was at his house. Now that hurricane season is over you Floridians get a tad smug about your weather. Well don't. Soon enough it'll be wildfire season in Florida and you won't think you're so fancy. :P

Scoots, I hope you sell lots of boots. Then you would be a boot scooting something-or-other but I bet you'd be a happy one.

Snow's almost melted now. It was pretty to wake up to this morning.

P.S.: It was particularly bizarre to see all that snow when our roses are still blooming like mad! This place is a freak show sometimes.

Yeah, the only "snow" we see here in Miami is the kind that they guys bring in by speedboat in the middle of the night!

It must be the day for storms though. We had a severe rain storm and flash flood that was so bad, one of the guys here lost his car! The water rose so fast that it flooded the entire interior. He's got water covering his seats. Needless to say, he's NOT happy.

It's been -5 at night here in the UK (though beautiful sunny days) but I overheard someone saying that it's gonna go down to -14 some time soon. That's rather abnormal for this place, especially in November.

Geeze, you gave me a scare. You mean -5 Celsius, right?

    (-5 Celsius = 23 Fahrenheit)

That's pretty cold for you guys. How'd you like to experience -14 Fahrenheit sometime?

Yes Rhea, it's -5 Celsius. In fact, I have experienced -14 Fahrenheit before and it was quite cold I must admit.
