I need a manuscript retyped from a book, with handwritten revisions, no existing electronic version of it at all. Previously published in the 80's, very interesting subject (I know that really doesn't matter, but hey, might as well enjoy reading what you are typing).

There's another thread further down about outsourcing work, and data input is one of them. You could post a bid request and see what comes up. If you do, choose a good "coder", set a deadline and set an accuracy level - you can't go wrong
I'd do it myself but I'm really busy lately
