You must be familiar with Steve Fosset the American guy who managed to fly around the world in a balloon recently.

When his first attempt failed, he gave the balloon to the owner of the 'Oz' farm for allowing him to use his property as the launch site.
These 'country boys' decided to move the balloon closer to the homestead.
So they inflated the balloon and tied it behind the 'ute'lol!
(4 x 4 truck type)

You can guess what happened next...the balloon took off dragging the 'ute' behind it....eventually the rope broke and dropped the 'ute'
News reports just in say the balloon has last been sighted floating over a small township in Nth Australia...lol!

Wonder if the balloon makes it around the world on it's own...LOL!

LOL!
What a shame the truck fell off. Could have become the first Ute to fly a balloon solo around the Globe.

And the Balloon could have become the first balloon to drive a UTE around the world <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon38.gif>

LOL! Steve Fosset must be fuming...
Millions of dollars and 7 attempts and
all these boys needed was a tank of fuel,
a bit of gas...lol!

I'm on the look out, hope it flys over here lol!

So funny, bit like the rocket they fired off in the desert here last week, $340million dollars, spectacular crash and a kangaroo just happens to hop past lol!

Yeap, has to be the understatment of the year!

Perhaps they should employ the tin pot town boys, a can of fuel, a bit of gas, could have saved $340M!

MJ...thanks for sharing that story...that is just too funny. It would be even funnier if the truck would have stayed attached. That would have been a great Ford commercial (or whoever makes the 'ute')

It was on John Laws and the news after that, turned the radio off, it'll probably be on the TV news tonight, guess they'll have to shoot it down or something if it doesn't land soon LOL!

Do we have an image problem as a nation...
Steve Irwin wrestling crocs, 'roo's bouncing around a rocket launch, and a couple of yobbos with their flying Toyota...what next!
