i'm editing this again just to let people know AOL is starting to show some google results. Sometimes you won't see it to page 3 on some keywords and others its all Google, so its starting.

lets you query Google and only retrieve pages that have been indexed recently.

Pretty handy sites, AOL is looking real good to me, does this mean that the AOL users will be seeing those results, I remember reading somewhere that AOL used to different searches, one for the outside and one for their users.

I'm very excited to see AOL switch over to using Google results. Personally I can't stand AOL, I think they offer only poor service and charge a premium for it. However, the very reason that I dislike it is also the reason that I'm so excited to see this change. Those who are willing to pay the AOL premium typically have money and are willing to spend it. Although I haven't seen stats, I've heard that AOL customers convert very well. Can't wait. Does anyone know when the transformation is supposed to take place? Dave

Well I checked a couple dozen of my keywords and I see top 5 placement on many. That looks pretty exciting. Anyone know how much traffic aol search has?

    Just a thought process....

Since the issue of people wanting to see what your site URL is - hmmm - would it be possible for a site to collect the data on what is beng searched for something like, say a URL?

I'm getting google results on my keywords through aol search.

I've shown off and on again with AOL Search depending on who they were getting their returns from. I've gotten some traffic, but my keywords aren't highly searched to begin with, under 3000/month per Overture. I've always done gotten the most traffic from straight google searches. That is I get more from google than say yahoo.google for the same search term. But every bit helps!
