    Multiple Websites
According to Linkshare's help section, it is okay to use the same links on multiple websites. (Or is that old news and outdated since the conception of "channels"?)

I want to keep track of which websites orders originated from. If I am correct, the only way to do this is to set up an new channel and reapply to the merchant program with that new channel. Right?

Is there any way to consolidate reports? I have several websites and don't want to switch channels and run the same reports for each one. Am I out of luck?

What about payments? Are the payments consolidated into one check for the legal entity?

    Thanks for answering!

    Hi K.C.

    welcome to ABW!

A good way would be to use the Signature function. A link to a pdf describing its features is given by Eric (post #3) in this thread:

That looks like a great work-around, but I'm not sure if it's the "legal" way to handle multiple URLs. Even the Signature request form asks for the URL that you want to use it for.

But... It is something that I was not aware of until now.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    KC,
As long as you own and operate all those sites it is legal to post your links. You can use Signature to track your different sites without having to set up new channels for each site.

I'm still curious about how the channels work though. Is there a way to consolidate reports and how is payment done?

    Thanks,

    ~ K.C.

If you set up multiple channels, you will receive multiple checks. Right now we do not have a way that you can consolidate reporting for your channels. If you need consolidated reporting, you can always download the report data.
