Post Cellars Wine Club is missing the boat
Nice they went into GoldenCAN so we could put up pages that were to be automatically updated, but where are the later feeds?

    Thanks Herb!
Yes, red & white wine feeds show a lot of these when you click through:

    "Server Error in '/' Application.
There is no row at position 0.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code."

    Not good for sales.

    Thumbs down
I really wish a company like wine.com would go to GoldenCAN. Their feeds must be more up to date than these.

I really also wonder what gives with Cellars . . . started out with a (albeit slow) bang but they went through Andy's seminar and I thought they "got it." Apparently something major has changed there.

    I've set my clock . . .

    Not really
    Hey Herb,
Our focus is wine clubs; I was told that we needed lots of content, not true the ratio for individual wines is very low. Wine clubs= 98% of our sales so we are removing all individual bottles in the feed. This is also good for the affiliates since the average sale is just under $200
We have been in business since 1995 and over the years we see the same pattern, gifts, gifts, and more gifts and the clubs is much more attractive than individual wines as a gift.
In January we are going to take over the affiliate program ourselves, we hired someone and over the course of a year+ things never happened, communication was a big part of it, so yes, we did miss the boat this year. We have some really good affiliates that are making sales for us, but not what I believe the program can do if run correctly.

    Have a great Holiday Herb!

uh huh . . . over the course of a year no one could find the products they were looking for after search engines sent them to our pages. your datafeed was full of holes.

this is how not to treat affiliates
