    it was live and you could add to cart. I did not take advantage of that.

    tried gator balls when i was there. texture is tougher to bite chew but other than that, you wouldn't know that it's gator meat.

    I would strongly suggest seafood gumbo or boiled crabs when crawfish is not in season

    Seafood gumbo is an excellent choice. Creole is a favorite of the cajun "sauces" too. We're not too far from the kickoff of crawfish season, but they are usually small until April or so. And they are much cheaper after lent is over.
