    Excel & Note Tab Question
    (Sorry if I put this on the wrong forum...please move for me, if I did - Thanks!) but here is the question.

    I am trying to convert 2500 records from excel to html. I know I can export it from excel to html, which works fine. I then open the document in Note Tab and I am then trying to strip the document of html coding, but preserve the urls. It won't save the URLs when I do this for some reason. Any suggestions? I tried saving the excel sheet in txt. but it doesn't show the URLs either, when I do that...so I'm at a standstill.

    Here is kinda what the excel sheet looks like: (JaneDoe.com is ficticious)
    JaneDoe $10 Off Visit JaneDoe.com

    When I convert it to html & open it in NoteTAb, it comes out like -

    <tr height=34 style='height:25.5pt'>
    <td height=34 class=xl26 width=169 style='height:25.5pt;border-top:none;
    width:127pt' bordercolor="#c0c0c0">JaneDoe</td>
    <td class=xl26 width=282 style='border-top:none;border-left:none;width:212pt'
    bordercolor="#c0c0c0">$10 Off </td>
    <td class=xl29 width=133 style='border-top:none;border-left:none;width:100pt'
    bordercolor="#c0c0c0"><a
    href="<A href="http://www.janedoe.com">Visit JaneDoe.com</a></td">http://www.janedoe.com">Visit JaneDoe.com</a></td>

    When I click for it to remove all HTML coding but preserve the URLs it comes out like this:
    JaneDoe $10 Off Visit JaneDoe.com

    What I want it to look like is:
    JaneDoe $10 Off http://www.janedoe.com Visit JaneDoe.com

    I can't figure out why it's deleting the URLS.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!
    leeann

    Try this

    <tr height=34 style='height:25.5pt'>
    <td height=34 class=xl26 width=169 style='height:25.5pt;border-top:none;
    width:127pt' bordercolor="#c0c0c0">JaneDoe</td>
    <td class=xl26 width=282 style='border-top:none;border-left:none;width:212pt'
    bordercolor="#c0c0c0">$10 Off </td>
    <td class=xl29 width=133 style='border-top:none;border-left:none;width:100pt'
    bordercolor="#c0c0c0"><a
    href="<A href="http://www.janedoe.com"Visit JaneDoe.com</a></td><td>http://www.janedoe.com</a>Visit JaneDoe.com</a></td>

    Hope this helps,
    Joey

    Thanks Beachcom, but I was trying to salvage the url when I convert an html file to a text file. I appreciate your effort to help, though! Thanks!
