As a busy Internet executive (on my way to my first $million - only $999,000 to go). Can someone summarise the recent weeks posts. It is getting like the plot on who killed JR, Watergate and Big Brother (UK program where everyone gets voted out of the house and the last one left joins Haiko's private forum). I think we have lost Fred, Reward me and Shrimp.. so far.

Also Haiko how about a hall of shame, somewhere were us newer guys can see the crimes and punishment of past sinners.

Oh, it was just the PGS (Premature Googledance Syndrome).

It's always getting hot here when we're waiting for the dance to start.

A lot of us didn't get the results we hoped for this period, and some freaked out over it. The hormone flow during the Google Dance can be enormous.

It can be hard to live with the fact that you, month after month, isn't able to do what every other webmaster does: Reproduce with Google. We all want to have lots of little Google-kids, but for some it just isn't happening.

We just have to live with them, be a bit forgiving, and not stir their minds too much when they're already so upset.

One of my sites is about fertility. This is nothing. Try real PMS from hundreds of women with only one ting in mind: I Want a Baby!

I quickly learned one lesson:
Never argue with them!

Actually, I mentioned elsewhere that I got some strange results. My 3 year old and never touched since pages are ranking high on very - very- popular keywords... and that is what I am really freaked out about!

About the punishments... we have just witnessed the first ABW public execution. The administration is taking serious measures to prevent terrorism on ABW and those who harbor negative thoughts are treated the same way as those who express them!

You could also call it the "Hall of Blame".

No merchant nor ad netowrk provides resolution for such ... I will change that, it is not an execution ... it is stopping members from copying ... Nothing less, nor more!

Note: The ideas presented here are my own. They are not intended to state any fact or be an advice to any person.

I think copying html structures and content is nothing more than plagiarism. Plagiarism is a serious intellectual offense. However, affiliate networks are not in a position to judge and punish such offences

If I were in a position to judge and punish this particular offense, I'd have taken a slightly different path (I mean I am in a slight disagreement with you on how the punishment was carried out), but since this very event might have caused serious damage to ABW's reputation and business integrity, I have not said anything to oppose the execution act.

There are also other issues regarding ABW business that I do not agree with the policies of the ABW administration. I am trying to keep it *legal* and enjoying my stay on ABW boards, but I have a real fear that extravagant agression might cause more damage than it intends.

My belief is, that ABW is an innegligable entity in Affiliate Marketing. Its sole power is its integrity. I believe more needs to be done to handle the politics better.

BluesX,

Stopping MEMBERS from Copying... Once a member, now a copier, not a member any more.

Period.

That is the total weight of the ABW forum. Certainly not an execution; just an excommmunication.

Why do you think not? (not agreeing or disagreeing with you, just asking for your thoughts)
