I second that, Trust thank you for finding those posts.

When we joined LinkShare having SAHS in their network was one of the sticking points in the negotiations. One I kept coming back to because it bothered me, no matter how much they cleaned up their tactics. I still get calls on a monthly basis from them asking us if not to let them in through LinkShare then join them directly.

Andy is indeed smart to keep his merchants focused within ShareASale. No other network is as dedicated to keeping the bad players out.

The other networks don't just let the bad players in, they PUSH THEM on their merchants.

No doubt Michael. I always find it interesting the no matter how many times I say no to them, Ebates and other TopMoxie players always seem to end up in the recommendations sent by LS.

They already joined us, nothing personal but, sorry SHS Jrami does not support software such as what it says under your Promotional Methods:

"the backbone of our value to the consumer is our Toolbar"
    "toolbar simply redirects a consumer"

Anyway, even if I do let you continue promoting us for the holidays, it would only be a short term affair with us over there

    Angel,

It gets better than that, they have been bypassing the networks and contacting merchants direct ....

    Andy,
    contacting merchants direct
I hope they don't start that again. Thank goodnes merchants you work with and Jrami works with know our stance from day one and all affiliate related calls, questions and answers we take care of it.

BTW, it says SHS "Joined Network 10-Nov-2006", so what does that mean they are ok with cj? Are they ok with Linkshare?
What about shareasale? (kidding, you don't have to answer that one )

    Ditto.

I remember us almost doing business with SAHS about 2 years ago.

I have never been so glad we got lazy and forgot about them...this was long before we discovered the wisdom of ABW of course.

    Andy,
Slow play them. Keep setting up more and more phone calls but never say yes. Take up as much of their time as possible.

    It works both ways!

I keep getting lame merchant offers appearing in my CJ account. One I've told NO to about 6 times, but every month they kept reappearing. I finally just let their offer sit there and rot, untaken.

I think networks have a delusion that if they "offer" something enough, eventually the target will make a mistake and accept the dud

"Apparently CJ will be sending an update to all of its advertisers stating the same thing." Peter Figueredo

Not only they accept them after what they did, but they are going to advertise them with OUR money.
Like it's not bad enough to promote eBates and all the scummy people using reminders to steal our commissions.
CJ, you're really a shitty company. Shame on you! I wonder how your top guys can sleep at night.

They also have a new toolbar now instead of the old SelectRebates application. Maybe the thought of a toolbar goes down easier with end users to click the download button? We'll see if they follow suit in how the toolbar functions like some others who switch have. If so, IMO it's worse for affiliates.

That being said, my old version of SelectRebates still works just dandy except now CJ links go through also. And I was able to get to a SelectsRebate.exe file on shopathome just now...so it's still there.

Brother Zeus, I feel ya. They are turds, stinky turds. They're complicit man, Complicit Junction. It's amazing what they can pull off on tons of big companies, and they're not the only ones. These scum sucking turds will allow thugs and leeches... wait, "allow" is the wrong word, they "sell" SAHS to their merchants as adding value. Where I'm from, that makes them freaking LIARS.

They may not know themselves. I wonder is this has anything to do with Pullen's exit?

I know one thing, after Lex Sisney departure, CJ lost its mind.
